The NJ Small Business Development Center at William Paterson University offers nascent entrepreneurs and small business owners the assistance they need to plan, develop and run successful and profitable ventures.
Conceptualizing all aspects of your business operation is critical to its success. Our purpose is to help aspiring small business owners and those already operating a business, define or redefine their business objectives and assist them in moving forward.

Professionals with small business experience provide one-on-one counseling to help you analyze your business or concept, and draw up plans for controlled future growth and development. Counseling sites are located in Paterson and Wayne, NJ.

In addition to start-up programs that support newly formed small businesses, we introduced some new, exciting programs programs and seminars that address the needs of established businesses. Topics include insurance, leasing, personnel management, and regulatory/legal strategies. The SBDC also presents dynamic programs on sales and marketing strategies, as well as managing cash flow.
